All equipment designed for use in explosive atmospheres is required to comply with the requirements of the European ATEX 94/9/EC Directive. That Directive certifies that our products have the approval of a notified body (through a CE type examination), and also attests that our quality assurance system is approved. CE marking on our labels shows that our product meets the requirements of the ATEX directive, and also the Low-Voltage directive.
